Meet The council

The Northern Arizona Black Hat Society Council

From Left:  Dandelion, Rio, Autumn Breeze

The Council meets frequently to discuss all aspects of the Society. Sabbat celebration rituals, projects, locations, and details are all part of the Council's duties.  The Council also schedules times and locations for the Meet & Greets, Workshops, Special Events, and Society Functions. Members are always welcome to reach out to any Council member with any questions, concerns, or suggestions they may have which will be discussed during Council meetings to ensure the best experience possible for all the Society members.

Rio - President

Rio has been practicing the Old Ways for over 40 years. She has been a Flagstaff resident for 24 years and opereates a magical antiques shop in the downtown area. Her magical interests are varied, with Poppet Magic being a longtime favorite. After a couple of years of teaching classes in her Magical Academy, she decided to start the Society to offer magic to the masses. She lives with her husband

and 3 magical cats.

Dandelion - Keeper of the Privy Purse

Dandelion has lived in Flagstaff off and on for about 30 years. She has always been interested in and dabbled in magic since she was a teenager. In her adult years, she has begun truly honing in on the power of magic and growing her skills in kitchen witchery and divination tools. Her favorite time of the year is Mabon because she is born on this special day of celebration. She has been married for 24 years and is a Mom to her teenage daughter, cats, dogs, and chickens.

Autumn Breeze - Scribe

Autumn Breeze is an energetic and elemental witch who uses an eclectic approach to her witchcraft practice that focuses on weaving the mundane and the magical. Her power sources come from the ley lines of the desert land she lives on, the deities she worships, and her own witchblood. She is excited to support creating a gathering space for solitary practitioners to come together and celebrate the magic of nature.
