About Northern Arizona Black Hat Society
At Northern Arizona Black Hat Society , our mission is to create a welcoming and inclusive space for members to meet, connect, build meaningful relationships., and learn from one another. We strive to foster a sense of community, safety, and belonging through a variety of events and activities that celebrate the Earth and Nature's cycles and seasons! We specifically meet to celebrate the 8 sabbats in the wheel of the year with ritual and crafting magical items specific for the particular sabbat. We meet on the Sunday before the actual sabbat day, unless the sabbat falls on a Sunday, then it is celebrated on the day!
Northern Arizona Black Hat Society Meet and Greet
Our Meet and Greets are mandatory for potential members. You must attend one, see what we are all about, and decide if you want to fill out our Membership Application. Applications will be reviewed before acceptance is offered. Meet and Greets are typically 2 weeks before our members only Sabbat Celebrations!

The September meet and greet will be on Sunday September 6th. We will be meeting at the East Side Public Library, 3000 N. Fourth Street, Suite 5, from 10am to Noon. Applications will be available.

Sabbat Celebrations
Membership is required to attend. Applications can only be obtained by attending one meet and greet prior to the Sabbat Celebration and potential new members must be accepted before membership is granted. We celebrate the 8 sabbats in the Wheel of the Year on the Sunday prior to the sabbat or on the day if it coincides
Mabon/Fall Equinox
Our Mabon Celebration will be on Sunday, September 20th. We will be celebrating the second harvest festival with Besom making, Apple Star crafting and a ritual for abundance and gratitude using our Besoms, apples with dressed candles and the burning of petitions to draw in what we are grateful for and what to release.
Witches Ball 2026
Our first annual witches ball is on Saturday, October 4th. The theme this year is Dark Enchanted Forest. The ball is for our members and their plus ones. This event will be held indoors and will be catered.
